For my card this week I used 'Spring Flowers' and just when I was looking through my nesties deciding on which to use to cut my bunny out the postman arrived with my prize from Enfys aka Going Buggy which was the Cricut Elegant Edges Cartridge so it was unpacked and used in record time. I cut this beautiful frame which did have holes cut out where my gems are but they got kind of lost in all the dots behind. Thanks again Enfys, I am one happy lady.

I cut the flower on my Cricut as well from the Mother's Day cart. The idea of this flower is that it folds in on it's self for posting. I have not posted one yet but will let you know if they work once I know one has been received. I added seed beads to the centre of the flower. I used glossy accents on the flowers in my image and then added a seed bead to the centre of two bigger flowers.

Today see's not only a new challenge at Crafty Sentiments Designs but also a New Mini Release. Our challenge this week is 'Weddings' and all the design team have used images from the New Mini Release

On the first panel of my card I have used Billy & Primrose (don't they make a lovely couple) and then on the second panel I have used the wedding banner and one of the sentiments off of the sheet.

As I made an easel card I took 3 photo's as it is so hard to get all the detail in. Cool Kid Boys Card

Good afternoon ladies, the lovely weather seems to have returned well it is slightly better than it was lol.
I have a card for you today that was made for a teenage lad and oh how difficult they are to make for, then I remembered this Kenny K image which I have had for ages and this is the outcome.
I had a lovely gift arrive yesterday from the lovely Bev aka 'All The Things I Love' which was the ticket & sentiment stamps from Lili of The Valley and they couldn't have arrived at a better time as I think they suit this card perfectly. Thanks Bev.
I made the buttons myself by cutting out 3/4" circles from cereal box cardboard and then again with the patterned paper, I stuck these together and then heat embossed them with Utee. I threaded some DMC cross stitch thread through and just tied.

Crafty Sentiments 'Add Stitching' Challenge

Good morning all and thank you for stopping by. What happened to the lovely weather although it is not cold it has been overcast with a shower or two each day for days now, please give us back our sunshine.

It's Thursday and that means it's time for another Crafty Sentiments Designs Challenge and this week we are challenging you to 'Add Stitching' to your projects. Now this doesn't have to be real stitching it can of course be faux, I however did dust off the sewing machine but as you can see I am not great with it, I will have to stick to papers definitely wouldn't fancy a new dress with those wiggly lines lol.

I went with two colours I wouldn't normally put together but having seen the cerise butterfly I thought they would be a good match for the image, plus I have had this paper for ages in my stash and I just never found a use for it (these were those papers that just kept getting moved around, so time to out them!). I decided to leave the flowers white like daisy's but added glossy accents over them to give a lovely sheen look. I didn't add a sentiment as the paper says it all.

A Little Darling For A Challenge Or Few

Good evening all. I made this card just for fun and to enter into a few challenges. This image is another of my Little Darling stamps that I won and is called 'Nice To Meet You'
I chose to use these blue and green shade papers as I really like this combination for boys but at the back of my mind I always hear friends saying when I was younger that 'blue and green where never to be seen except with another in between', funny how you remember these sayings.
I have also moved all my crafting things to another computer and wow what a difference I can see in the colours of my photographs, they always looked so dull on my other computer but on the new screen that are all bright and colourful so I apologise now if I had been blinding you!!

Crafty Sentiments 'Craft With A Child' Challenge

Good morning, today is the day for a new challenge over at Crafty Sentiment Designs and this week we challenge you to 'Craft With A Child' that is of course if you can but if you can't you can do what I did and 'Craft For A Child'. It is not that I don't have children quite the opposite they are just all a little too old to want to craft with mum especially as three of them are boys lol.

I decided to go all girlie with my card and used this pretty little fairy called 'Taski' she is one of the older releases but still available in digital format HERE. It wasn't until I got to the end of my card and wondered why I had an extra piece of pink cardstock left I realised I had left the second layer's mat out!!
Do you like my double bow? I used to really struggle with bows then my friend Tracy aka Scrap Happens brought me a peg bow maker which makes them so much easier and the other day I found some you tube video's with different types of bows you can make so watch out there could be a bow on everything soon lol.
