My Time To Craft 'All At Sea' Challenge

Good morning all, I hope you are all keeping well and the weather is the being kind to you.

It is time for another challenge at My Time To Craft and this week we are 'All At Sea' so anything that is related to the ocean, that means boats, fish, dolphins, lighthouses etc.

For my card I used two stamps that I have had for years, I brought these plus many others from an artist in America to make cards for my husband's scuba diving students. They are really nice stamps made of the thick red rubber and attached to cling mount and every stamps gives such a beautiful clear image and they were really cheap even with the shipping. I did something with this card that I never normally do in that I stamped my two images, found my paper and cut my die cut then put it all together BEFORE I coloured my image. Normally I would stamp, find papers then colour before anything else and with this once I had done all the above I looked at it and thought I don't want to colour it I like it as it is. Another first for me and why, why, why didn't I think of this when I couldn't colour properly. It certainly made for a quick make card.

My Time To Craft 'Clean & Simple or One Layer' Challenge

Good morning all, how are you all today?

It is time for a new challenge over at My Time To Craft where the challenge is 'Clean & Simple or One Layer', I actually didn't notice the clean and simple part until after I had made my card.

My card is really sparkly and pretty in real life but can I get a photo to show that of course I can't. I used some silver sparkle Centura Pearl card stock to make an A6 size card so that the embossing folder fitted it completely. I then used two blue, two green and a grey pan pastels to add some colour before applying glitter to all the snow parts. Once all dry I added some Crafter's Companion Silver Sparkle Spray. See what I mean all that sparkle and it can't be seen.

I even tried holding it at an angle and you still can't see it.
Supplies:-
Glitter - Baker Ross

Thank you for stopping by and don't forget we still have a DT call on at My Time To Craft so just enter the challenge and add DT after your name.

Sparkles Monthly 'Steampunk or Vintage' Challenge

Good afternoon all, after the last couple of days being so so hot today has been cool in comparison and is even raining now boo hoo, bring back the sunshine.

Today I have for you a card I made for the Sparkles Monthly Challenge which should have been posted on Saturday but I was a little tied up arranging a surprise party for my mum's 70th birthday.

This month we are challenged to 'Steampunk or Vintage' now when it comes to steampunk I just have no idea where to start and I was so glad when Shaz added the option of vintage to the agenda. I used another of my Kanban design sheets and backing papers and teamed it with some distress ink around all the edges, some seam binding in three different colours and a border die cut which is supposed to be stars but I think looks more like cogs! Not much else to it but I actually kind of like it plus I brought one of those Tim Holtz distressing tools and found it so much easier to use.

Supplies:-
6" Square Card Blank - Boyes
Card Stock - Bazzill
Backing Papers - Kanban Crafts
Image - Kanban Crafts
Ribbon - Crafty Ribbons

Challenges I would like to enter this into:-
Divas By Design - Distressing
Bunny Zoe's - Wings
Cards For Mens - Boys Will Be Boys
My Craft Creations - Transport

That's all from me for today, thanks for stopping by.

Moving Along With The Times 'One For The Guy's' Challenge

Good morning all, I hope you are all enjoying these few days of beautiful weather we are having at the moment. I have so enjoyed being able to get out in the garden, seeing and listening to all the bird's is so relaxing.

Well, it's Thursday again lol and that means it's time for another challenge at Moving Along With The Times and this week Carole has set us the challenge of 'One For The Guys'. So with Father's Day ahead of us and I am sure so many male birthday's it should be a fun challenge.

I have made a card that I thought my grandson could give to his dad for father's day unless someone comes along for a male birthday card in the meantime! I have used Sassy Cheryl's 'He Is Loved' image, which is so so cute  look at that adorable little face lol. The image and mat layer have been cut out with my Cameo. I have teamed it with Papermania's 'Happy Days' papers which I think are great for boy's cards. I added the die cut border and little tag which I also cut on my Cameo and then used the sketch pens in the machine to write the dad wording.
