If you are looking for my Moving Along With The Times post you will find it below this one.

Good morning again. I am back with my happy news for the day. I have been asked to join the lovely ladies at Natalie and Amy's Challenge Blog and as you can see I said YES. Thank you ladies for having me. I look forward to getting to know you all and seeing your creations.

This month we are challenged to make something using the theme of 'Fantasy', oh dear I so couldn't have started on a worst challenge for me! As most of my followers will know I am not one to use let's say 'none real' characters/images but I won this little fairy the other day and so it fits the challenge perfectly.

For my card I used lots of items I received in my dt package (thank you Natalie and Amy) they are all linked below my card under supplies. The papers and buttons come from the Dovercraft Back To Basics III design and the twine from their Dovecraft Tea Party design. I also used the Woodware foam pads to mount my image and sentiment up a layer and the Stix 2 glue dots to attach my buttons. I added Ranger Diamond Stickles to her fairy wings for every little girlies bit of sparkle.

Good morning everyone, how are you all on this cold, wintery day oh I forgot it is not winter!!

My Time To Craft 'Sketch' Challenge

God morning all, I hope this post finds you well. Boy it is cold here, we have had rain, hailstones, wind and sunshine all in one day, what on earth is going on with this weather.

This week at My Time To Craft we have a lovely sketch for you to use, pop over to the challenge blog HERE and have a look.

For my card, I have used an image and backing paper from a Kanban set. I was in need of a male card for someone special and thought this fitted perfectly. The plain card stock is gold mirri but it looks kind of yellow in the photo, I had so much trouble taking this because all I got was my reflection! I have added some Tim Holtz brads to reflect the extra elements in the sketch.

Supplies:-
6" Card Blank - Boyes
Card Stock - Create And Craft
Image & Sentiment - Kanban
Border Punch - Xcut Scalloped
Brads - Tim Holtz

I will enter this later today.

Thanks for stopping by, enjoy the bank holiday weekend.

Sparkles Monthly 'Monochromatic' Challenge

Good morning all. I hope today finds you all well even though the weather is not being to kind on us and spreading lots of colds around.

It feels like forever since I have been on here, what with some nice person hacking my blogger account and keeping my locked out for over a week grrr, they drive me crazy what do they achieve apart from deleting a couple of posts and the hassle of getting back on NOTHING so what's the point. We then had our son and his family moving from Essex to Lincolnshire, they are finally all settled and happy in their new home. Now all I need is to keep my daughter out of hospital and eating (she is pregnant and cannot keep a thing down so is spending most of her time in hospital attached to a drip) oh and if she lived nearer than the 3 hour drive it is to get to her that would help lol.

Anyhow, enough of the rambling back to the matter in hand. This month at Sparkles Monthly we are challenging you to 'Monochromatic' so make anything you like just as long as it is all in one colour shade. We have a great sponsor this month in Crafty Ribbons and here is a little about them.

Crafty Ribbons is a ribbon emporium, we are passionate about ribbons and want to share our fantastic ribbons with others. Our range of Christmas ribbons is second to none.
Remember when we only used ribbons to add a bow to our hair, or tie up a birthday parcel? Ribbons are now a "must-have" for all types of craft. Whether your project requires satin, sheer, silk, grosgrain, gingham or polka dot ribbon we have them all! Lots and lots of different colours in a range of widths.
Need a little bit of ribbon inspiration - then have a look at our projects on our blog,or visit our Inspiration blog,or maybe join in with us at our Challenge blog. Go on, have a look... It's worth it !

For my card I decided to make the base from a sheet of Bazzill cutting it down to 6" x 12" and folding it top to bottom. I then used the Kaisercraft 'Script' stamp on the top and bottom section stamping it with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink although it doesn't show up very well in the photo. I added a strip of Dotted Bazzill to the middle before adding this lovely Loni Leah Designs die cut with a Create With TLC freebie sentiment in the middle. A few gems to finish it off, this was really easy to make and yet I like the effect and simplicity of it.

Supplies:-
Card Stock - Bazzill
Die Cut - Silhouette Store by Loni Leah Designs 'Dotted Flourish Label' i.d num 21566
Sentiment - Create With TLC 'Freebie'
Gems - Anita's Gem Wheel

Good morning all, I hope you are all enjoying these few days of beautiful weather we are having at the moment. I have so enjoyed being able to get out in the garden, seeing and listening to all the bird's is so relaxing.

Well, it's Thursday again lol and that means it's time for another challenge at Moving Along With The Times and this week Carole has set us the challenge of 'One For The Guys'. So with Father's Day ahead of us and I am sure so many male birthday's it should be a fun challenge.

I have made a card that I thought my grandson could give to his dad for father's day unless someone comes along for a male birthday card in the meantime! I have used Sassy Cheryl's 'He Is Loved' image, which is so so cute  look at that adorable little face lol. The image and mat layer have been cut out with my Cameo. I have teamed it with Papermania's 'Happy Days' papers which I think are great for boy's cards. I added the die cut border and little tag which I also cut on my Cameo and then used the sketch pens in the machine to write the dad wording. I have attached the tag with some twine which I actually brought from Let's Create our sponsor this week.

6" Square Card Blank - Boyes
Card Stock - Bazzill
Designer Papers - Papermania 'Happy Days'
Medium - Promarkers & Flexmarkers
