Lisa @ The Paper Princess Debbie @ Deb's Paper Palooza Kim @ Kim's Card Corner Millie @ Crafting With Creative M Karon @ Karon's Krafty Korner Kathy @ 3 Spoiled Dogs and a Cricut Colleen @ Creations By Colleen Theresa @ Scrappers AnonymousOkay onto my project for today where I made two things. Firstly I needed a gift box for one of the presents I have brought for one of my grandchildren and went with this Santa's Chimney Box. I made it at the size it came in the file and it is a really good size, it measures 4" square and about 3.5" tall.
Here it is closed
Here it is open without the lid.
Supplies:-
Card Stock - Bazzill
Die Cuts - 3d Chimney Box #51814 - Snapdragon Snippets
For my second project I just couldn't resist making this lantern. It can be used as a box or as a lantern as I have it. I am not sure where I will go it yet but as the colours go with my lounge and it might end up there. I added a battery lamp, some gems and liquid pearls to the outside. The acetate does have snowdrops on it but as most were covered by the snowflakes I added some with liquid pearls. I added this bow as an after thought but not sure I like it so may take it off.
This is the front which I tried to take in the dark to show the lamp glowing but my flash keeps going off even when not turned on!
This is a side view which doesn't show it at it's best lol.
Supplies:-
Card Stock - Bazzill
Die Cuts - 3d Decorative Snowflake Lantern Box #51738 Jamie Cripps
Gems - Boyes
Acetate - Let's Create
Liquid Pearls - Natalie & Amy's
Now hop on over to Millie to see what fabulous craftiness is on offer for your enjoyment. Some of them are offering candy as well.Be sure to read their requirements to be eligible as they may all be different.Thank you for hopping with us!!!!

My Time To Craft 'Sketch' Challenge
Good morning again, it is a busy day here today. If you are looking for the 'Tis The Season Blog Hop' it will follow this post at 1pm.
Okay onto this post which is all about this weeks My Time To Craft challenge where there is a sketch to follow. You can find the sketch HERE on the main challenge blog. For my card I did something completely different for me. I used this large old wooden stamp that I brought for 20p at a car boot sale and have no idea who made it except that it has the original cost of £10.50 on it, I definitely got a bargain. I stamped the image with Memento Rich Cocoa ink and then I used Ranger Distress Ink to colour over it as I didn't like the image when I coloured it in with pens. I have used an 8" square card blank and then added papers and elements from the Kaisercraft 'Tis The Season' 12 x 12 and 6 x 6 stacks.
8" Square Card Blank - Ebay
Card Stock - Bazzill
Designer Papers - Kaisercraft 'Tis The Season' 12" & 6"
Image - Unkown
Ink - Memento Cocoa & Distress Ink Vintage Photo
Card Candy - Gift
That's all from me for now I will be back later with the blog hop post.
Have a lovely weekend all.

My Time To Craft 'Special Christmas' Challenge
Good morning all how are you all today? Boy it has turned cold this afternoon really wintery, I am wondering if this horrible snow they have been talking about is on it's way I sure hope not.
Really sorry my post is late today but I have a good excuse my daughter had her baby on Wednesday 8 days early and so we took off early on Thursday to go se them. Baby Mia Rose Alger weighed a healthy 6lbs 15 and a half ozs and both mum and her are doing really well and here is a photo off her the day she was born in her dad's arms.
Ok now that I have done the proud nanny bit onto the matter in hand where our challenge at My Time To Craft is 'Special Christmas'. I am sharing a card today that I actually made last Christmas for a customer and have never shared (well not that I can see anyway lol). I used a Kanban topper which I decoupaged up, then placed on some mirri card with a computer generated sentiment. I added this ribbon which I lurrrrve along with a charm on some twine.
Supplies:-
8" Card Blank - Natalie & Amy's
Mirri Card - Local Hardware Shop
Ribbon, Twine & Charm - Lets Create
Sentiment - My Computer using customer's words.
That's all from me today, I will be back next Saturday with another project for My Time To Craft, a project for Natalie & Amy's plus a project for the 'Tis The Season' blog hop I am taking part in. Talk about buses all coming along at once it looks like craft projects do to lol.
Have a lovely week all.

My Time To Craft 'Baubles' Challenge
Good morning everyone, thank you for stopping by. The mornings and evenings are getting colder but the daytime is still not too bad, does that mean we are going to get snow next week as they have forecast? I really don't want snow until after Christmas at least as my daughter is due her baby in two weeks but of course that could be four if she goings over and I really want to be able to go and see them. If it snow's I will have to wait until it has cleared because she lives nearly three hours away!
Anyhow onto the matter in hand and that is a new challenge at My Time To Craft where we are challenging you to use 'Baubles' as your main image. As soon as I saw the challenge I immediately thought to use my Lili of The Valley 'Christmas Baubles' stamp which I love but that would mean colouring and my hands have not been up to that this week. So instead I made a card with my Silhouette Cameo.
I used the Lori Whitlock A2 Swing Card Christmas Ornament #50949 file but I resized it to make an A5 sized card. I also used patterned paper from the store to called Bright Bells Pattern #35645 by Jennifer Wambach. I used white hammered card for my base and for my ornament to give a bit of texture to it. It was quite hard to photograph so have added three photo's to show it in action. All other card stock is Bazzill.
This is it when fully open, I will add a sentiment to the inside but haven't decided on one as yet.
This is it when swinging, I think one of the grandchildren will like this.
Supplies:-
Card Stock - Bazzill & Unknown Hammered White
Patterned Paper - Bright Bells Pattern #35645 by Jennifer Wambach
Die Cuts - A2 Swing Card Christmas Ornament #50949 by Lori Whitlock
Sentiment - Unkown Old Wooden Stamp
Wow that has got to be the shortest list of supplies lol.
That is all from me for today, we have the decorator coming tomorrow so have had to completely empty our second bedroom out and boy you don't realise how much is in a room until you empty it!
Have a lovely weekend all.

My Time To Craft 'Clean & Simple or One Layer' Challenge
Good morning all, how are you all today?
It is time for a new challenge over at My Time To Craft where the challenge is 'Clean & Simple or One Layer', I actually didn't notice the clean and simple part until after I had made my card.
My card is really sparkly and pretty in real life but can I get a photo to show that of course I can't. I used some silver sparkle Centura Pearl card stock to make an A6 size card so that the embossing folder fitted it completely. I then used two blue, two green and a grey pan pastels to add some colour before applying glitter to all the snow parts. Once all dry I added some Crafter's Companion Silver Sparkle Spray. See what I mean all that sparkle and it can't be seen.
I even tried holding it at an angle and you still can't see it.
Supplies:-
Card Stock - Crafter's Companion 'Silver Centura Pearl'
Pan Pastels - Neutral Grey, Phthalo Green Tint, Turquoise Tint, Bright Yellow Green & Hansa Yellow Shade.
Embossing - Nellie Snellen PIF003 'Snowy Cottage'
Glitter - Baker Ross
Thank you for stopping by and don't forget we still have a DT call on at My Time To Craft so just enter the challenge and add DT after your name.

Good morning all, have many of you been to or going to the NEC? I have heard quite a lot of people saying they were disappointed by it but not sure why exactly!
I am back today to share with you a really quick project I made for this month's Silhouette Challenge. I say quick as I had the wrong date in my head and had to make it in less than half an hour to be on time lol.
I used all Bazzill card stock and the hot chocolate holder was a file from the Silhouette Store by Megan Hardy and the tag I added is also from the store and by Echo Park. My ribbon looks wonky in the picture but it really isn't I promise. Not much more I can say about it.
Supplies:-
Card Stock - Bazzill
Die Cuts - Hot Chocolate Holder #34320 by Megan Hardy & Tag #48497 by Echo Park.
Ribbon - Anita's I think I've had it years
Twine - Let's Create
Hot Chocolate - My Cupboard!
I finally had the second part of my occupational therapy assessment today and they have agreed that I need a wet room so maybe by the end of 2014 I might have it in place going by the speed they work lol.
Short and sweet again from me, I will try to get around to see a few more of you this week if my hands allow.

Crafty Calendar 'All Things Christmas' & My Time To Craft 'Quilt It' Challenge.
Good morning all, brrr it has turned really cold and rainy here I hope it is better where you are.
Today see's the start of 2 new challenges and because I am still not up to speed with my crafting I joined them together. At Crafty Calendar Challenge we have the challenge of 'All Things Christmas' and we are sponsored by the wonderful Elisabeth Bell who gave us some beautiful images to play with. Then over at My Time To Craft Challenge we have the challenge of 'Quliting'.
Before I get onto my card I just wanted to let you know that My Time To Craft are having a DT Call so if you fancy creating with your own images and supplies this could be the team for you plus we are all really really friendly. We are looking for around 5 people, plenty of places to go around so if you fancy it just add DT after your name when you enter the challenge.

For my card I used a quilting block template from the Silhouette store by Snapdragon Snippets although most of it is covered up lol. I cut this out of some -- papers and then stitched them on my machine, can you see the wonky stitching I thought this would be easier than drawing the stitching on but oh so much more stressful. I used the print and cut feature on my silhouette to cut the image out of the frame background, then cut this pretty frame front by Skyber Lowen from card stock which I then triple embossed and added glamour dust to the final coat. It doesn't really show well in the photo but it really is glossy and sparkly. The sentiment was a freebie from Create With TLC and I also added some holly and berries (after putting glossy accents on the berries) by Rivka Wilkins again from the Silhouette Store.
See below photo for links to supplies.
