Did you notice I actually did some colouring well that was done whilst I was in hospital having my nerve and muscle tests done and so that they could see the problem with my hands. The nerve test wasn't too bad a little strange to see parts of my body moving whilst I cannot feel it at all but the muscle test was a killer, so so painful and even today my legs are still going into cramps and feel like lead weights.

I must dash off as off to have some more bloods done today and then MRI scans tomorrow and that hopefully will be it for a while or at least until I get all the results.

See you all tomorrow.

My Time To Craft 'Sympathy' Challenge

Good afternoon all. I am really sorry this post should have been up this morning but I completely forgot to write it! No it was not Mr Blogger playing games for a change, it was purely moi.

OK so on with this week's challenge at My Time To Craft which is 'Sympathy', we all need these cards at times and not something you particularly want to be making as last minute.

I decided upon a different style of card for me again, I tell you not being able to colour and this week not having my silhouette to use either really has made me think about different styles and I quite like them. For my card this week I went looking on Pinterest for inspiration and came up with this quick and easy card from a mix of a few I liked.

I started with a piece of white 11" x 5" card stock folded in half, I then added a piece of blue Bazzill card cut down to 5.25" x 4.75" and then another layer of the white at 5" x 4.5". I stamped the Kaisercraft Flutter stamp in broken china distress ink onto this layer and added a couple of lines of ribbon before adding The Stamp Of Life sentiment onto a couple of nestabilities circles.

Supplies:-
Card Stock - Ann Marie Designs & Bazzill
Ribbon - Stash

Challenges I would like to enter this into:-
A Creative Romance - Lets Get Sentimental
Sister Act - Anything Goes
Crafty Girlz - Anything Goes
Baffies Creative - Everything Goes
Penny's Paper Craft - Monochromatic

My apologies and please delete if any of these challenges are not correct, it is a long time since I entered any.

That's all from me, see you all soon.

My Time To Craft 'Buttons & Bows' Challenge

Good morning again, it seems like ages since I was last here yet it is only a week ago excluding of course the post below this one that went live this morning also. If you are looking for my Silhouette Challenges post you will find it HERE.

Ok so this week at My Time To Craft we are challenged to use 'Buttons & Bows' you must use at least 3 buttons and 1 bow.

For my card this week I never used my Silhouette shock horror lol, that would be because I have been having problems with a virus on my computer which was remove but then the software for my Silhouette kept interfering with everything else. I hope it has finally been fixed now as I am using it and nothing is crashing as I type so fingers crossed.

So I took a sheet of First Edition's Isabelle designer paper and gave it a little inking around the edge with Ranger Spun Sugar Distress Ink, I then stamped this Inkadinkado Noteworthy stamp onto white stamping card stock and cut out using a Spellbinder's Nestabilities die. After embossing and while still in the die I inked with the same ink as before. Mounted onto some Bazzill card stock and added my 3 buttons and 2 bows, my bows as you can see went a little skew whiff because I struggled to hold the needle and stitch them together.  All links are below in the supplies list.

Following on from my hospital appointment last Saturday I now have to have another MRI scan, an EMG or nerve test, several blood tests and see a new pain consultant before returning to the neurologist for all the results. There was me thinking I would go along last Saturday and he would tell me my lack of feeling in my fingers was caused by a trapped nerve in my back oh no, no such luck, he wants all these tests done first. Not looking forward to the nerve test as they apparently pass small electrical currents through your hands and feet and my right foot has had hypersensitivity since my last operation in 2008. Plenty of time to not think about it as have to await an appointment and then who knows who long it will be before I get seen!

Supplies:-
6" Square Card Blank - Natalie & Amy's
Card Stock - Bazzill
Designer Paper - First Edition 'Isabelle'
Ribbon - Stash

That's all from me for today, see you all soon.

Good morning all, as you can see it is time for another challenge over at Silhouette Challenges and this month we are making 'Boxes of any kind'. I decided a while ago to make some organisation projects for my crafting space which is limited in this house. I chose to make this recipe box but not for recipes but to hold all those small sheets of bling that were scattered around my desk and drawers. I made it at the size it was in the file and it turned out perfect for my bling. I have had the designer card stock for ages, it was a freebie 12" stack from Colorbox years ago (I don't think they even sell paper/card stock anymore lol) I thought it was too nice to use but I am now going to make coordinating items for my room with it. The little alphabet stickers were also part of the stack. This is a lovely strong box as it is double walled (as shown in the second photo) from Bazzill card stock and then all the panel coverings are from the Colourbox card stock.

A closed view

Here it is holding some of my bling.
Supplies:-
Card Stock - Bazzill
Designer Card Stock & Letters - Colorbox
Die Cut - Recipe Box #27660 by Lori Whitlock from the Silhouette Store

Hop on over and link up your project today.
Thanks for stopping by I will be back shortly with my My Time To Craft post.

Crafty Calendar 'Love Is All Around' Challenge

Good morning everyone, how are we all this morning? Can you believe it is the 1st February already where is the time going. I am hoping Mr Blogger is still playing nicely as although I am now home from visiting my beautiful granddaughter I had a hospital appointment at 9 am this morning so had to schedule this post. Can you believe I am seeing a neurology consultant on a Saturday morning at an NHS hospital, well I am and hoping he can give me some answers to my fingers that don't want to do as they need to just lately. Watch this space for the outcome and probably what wonderful tests I need to have!

Ok so this month at Crafty Calendar Challenge we are challenged to 'Love Is All Around', nice and easy eh. We have a wonderful sponsor this month in Hannah Lynn but after my disaster with colouring this week I was not even going to attempt one of these images.

So I went with another (I know you are all bored of my Cameo only cards, I am too but needs must at the moment) card made on my Silhouette Cameo, it was sized at 4.25" x 5.5" but I altered it to make it 5" x 5.5".  I think this one came out really nice for a special moment card. It was made with a file from the Silhouette Store, you know I look at these cards after I have made them and think I could of designed that myself but I have a subscription and plenty of credits so all is good lol.

Supplies:-
Card Stock - Bazzill
Ribbon - Stash
Gems - 5mm & 4mm by Craft Gems
Sentiment - Birthday Sentiments by Paper Pretties

Well that is all, have a good weekend and stay safe and warm.
