Moving Along With The Times 'Flying High' Challenge

Good morning all, I hope you are all enjoying this wonderful weather we are having! When will it ever be possible to have a summer in the actual summer and be able to plan around it.

This week at Moving Along With The Times Claire challenged us to 'Flying High' which means you can use birds, planes, balloons, kites, insects etc. You have a whole choice of things to use. We are sponsored this week by 'Stitchy Bear Stamps' who very kindly gave us images to play with. I have used 'Santa Sleigh Silhouette' mainly because my printer was playing up and not printing at all but have now manage to get it to print black ink only. However this image makes for a really lovely quick and easy card as I think the image speaks for itself.

Ribbon - Local Gift Shop

My Time To Craft 'Milestone Birthdays' Challenge

Good morning all, hope you are all well.
It has been typical bank holiday weather here in the UK, rain and wind a plenty and quite cold too for the time of year.

Anyhow this week at My Time To Craft Wendy asked us for 'Milestone Birthday' creations. Now before I show you my card I would just like to say you need to be a bit creative in your thinking lol. I made this card for someone, took a photo before I added the age and sentiment to make sure it was what they wanted, finished the card, took another photo, sent it off then went and deleted the wrong photo!! So you have to image it has a 2 and a 1 either side of the image and a sentiment that says 'Birthday Wishes Dear Daughter'. So now you can see it correctly!
What am I like, that's what happens when you realise at 5.30pm on Monday it is challenge day on Tuesday lol.

Moving Along With The Times 'Shape Up' Challenge

Good morning I hope today finds everyone well and for those that are not I wish you a speedy recovery.

Today is the start of a new challenge over at Moving Along With The Times and this fortnight Leesa has set us the challenge of 'Shape Up' meaning no square cards.

I decided to make something different for me although it is only a rectangle card and not a fancy shape. I made my card base from a piece of red card I got ages ago from the Papermill Shop and then took a piece of bazzill kraft card stock and firstly printed the sentiment onto it, then stamped my image and die cut the bottom edge. This is my first attempt at stamping and colouring on kraft and I really like how it turned out.

Sentiment - Computer Generated

Good afternoon all.
How many of you are missing the Olympics already? doesn't the television seem empty now that it is all over, although the closing ceremony certainly sent them off in style.

Now before I go I just wanted to show you a photo of our first born grandson who arrived last Wednesday weighing in at 7lbs 11ozs and has been named Harley Jason Thompson.

We have yet to see him as we are about a 3 hour drive from him and my son doesn't drive, plus between my husband being the hospital and poor little Harley who has also been admitted twice in his first week of life things are a bit difficult.
Harley has a problem with the capillaries in his face caused during a traumatic birth and because of this and not feeding too well he keeps dehydrating. He is awaiting an assessment this week to see what can be done for him, they were hoping it would clear up on it's own but are now not sure.
