My Time To Craft 'Fantasy' Challenge

Good evening all. It is lovely to be here and all posts should be on time now as our internet is up to speed, I still can't get much signal in my room but hopefully the new booster which is on it's way will sort that.

Anyhow this week at My Time To Craft we are all challenged with 'Fantasy' and I knew what I was going to make as soon as I saw the challenge. I had seen this clam shell card in the Silhouette store and had wondered how I could use it and this was the perfect time. I haven't made it for anyone in particular but just loved making it.

I started by colouring a Sweetpea Stamp by Elisabeth Bell called 'Glimmer'. Once coloured I decided to add clear holographic embossing powder to her tail for a bit of sparkle, it really does shimmer but I could not get it to show up however you can see how it shows up on the 'splash' word below.  I next cut my card elements to match the size of my image and it turned out to be about 5"x7". As I said I added embossing powder to the 'splash' word and also the 'make' and 'a' but again those are not very clear. This is my first pop up card and it was so easy to make,  I added a photo to try and show the folds but it was not easy. All the bubbles have glossy accents on them too.

The shell closed up.

Opened Up.

A close up where you can see the shimmer a bit better.

Crafty Calendar 'Leaves & Lace' Challenge

Good afternoon all, it is lovely to be here again today! As I said yesterday this post should have gone live on the 6th but didn't and as you still have time to play I thought I would add it now.

The challenge at Crafty Calendar Challenge is 'Leaves and Lace', we have a great sponsor in Art By Miran who generously gave us some images to play with and I used this one called 'Poinsettia'. When I first saw the image I thought I would really struggle colouring it in but in truth I actually loved colouring it. This was the first image that I used the Spectrum Noir Blendable Pencils on after colouring with Promarkers and Flexmarkers first.

Supplies:-
6" Square Card Blank - Natalie & Amy's
Card Stock - Bazzill
Designer Papers - First Edition 'Silent Night'
Die Cut - Poinsettia Corner Flourish #52922 by Jennifer Wambach
Lace & Ribbon - Stash

Silhouette Challenges #17 "3D Fall

Good morning everyone.

It's the time for another challenge over at Silhouette Challenges.

It feels like forever since I posted here but it is only a couple of weeks. We are finally all moved and settling into our new home, it has been a stressful couple of weeks but I am really happy to have a craft room again even if it is smaller than I had before.

Anyhow onto business, this month at Silhouette Challenges we are challenging you to make something that is 3d and fall themed

My grandchildren had asked me to make a Halloween countdown, they are a bit like an advent calendar you would have at Christmas but ghostly instead lol. I have now made what is going to be the background of it, there will be a coffin in front of this and inside it will be cryptic clues letting them know where to find the treat (The coffin will be shown soon). As they are only allowed sweet treats on a Friday the other days will contain non edible treats and messages.

I used numerous files for this but they are svg files that I amassed in my Cricut days. If I find the owner I will edit and give credit.

This is it all opened up, it stands about 10" tall and 18" wide.

It all folds together for easy storing.

Here is a close up of it.
Supplies:-
Card Stock - Lidl
Die Cut Files - Unknown they were svg files that I amassed years ago when I had a cricut machine and didn't keep who they belonged to. If I find whose they were I will edit.
Embossing - Cuttlebug Houndstooth & Woodgrain.
Ink - Ranger Distress Inks
