Crafty Calendar Challenges DT Card

Happy New Year To You All.

Hope this post finds you all fit and well with not too much of a hangover, I myself am perfectly sober and have no hangover. This is partly due to the amount of medication I take, heavily due to being a non alcohol drinker and lastly due to the fact that new years eve is husband's and my good friend's birthday's so we celebrate those generally instead of the new year!!

Anyway on to the matter in hand. Today, is the forth challenge over at Crafty Calendar Challenges and this month the theme is 'Warmth' with the added option of 'Texture'. Hop on over to the challenge site and see all the other wonderful design teams creations and as always we have a fantastic sponsors.

For my card I decided to go with a summer card by way of the colours and image to depict my warmth and I then added ribbon, the inner flower parts and the butterfly as my texture. Although you cannot see it very well in this photo the butterfly and inner flower part are made of fabric.

Supplies:-
6" Square Card Blank - Craft Superstore
Designer Papers - K&Co 'Simply Sweet'
Cardstock - Paper Mill Shop
Stamp - Belles & Whistles 'Sisters'
Sentiment - Computer Generated
Medium - Promarkers
Ribbon - Crafty Ribbons
Punch - Woodware Medium 'Daisy'
Aqua Flower Parts - Just Pots
Butterfly - Just Pots
Gems - Poundland

I would also like to enter this card into a few challenges as below:-
Create 4 Fun - Sketch
Rosie D's - Free Choice
Rose's On Paper - Favourite Medium
Crafty Cardmakers - Favourites (Mine is Promarkers which I discovered this year and love to use, not only for the blends of shading you can manage but because you never get those marks that normal pens leave. Several people have not believed I have coloured a stamp as they leave an image looking like it has been computer generated.)
Lexi's Creations - Pastel Colours (That really is pink on my card and not red, not sure why it looks like that but because the card was for my friends birthday yesterday I cannot take another photo)
My Time To Craft - Anything Goes
Susie's Sassy Designs - Friends Old & New

Can't wait to see what you all create for this months challenge.
