My Time To Craft 'Bunnies' Challenge

Good morning all.
I hope this finds you all well. Where are the weeks going, they seem to go by quicker and quicker each week.

I hope those of you going to Harrogate have a lovely time, I would of loved to of gone but there is no way I could walk around there at the moment with my back and legs being so bad and when I am in my wheelchair you just cannot see anything plus I always feel in the way of others.

Anyhow onto the matter in hand it is time for a new challenge at My Time To Craft and this week the challenge is 'Bunnies' so we need to see a bunny on your creation somewhere.

For my card I was going to use my freebie bunny from whimsy that you may remember I used a few ago but I found this little cutie from Crafty Sentiments that I have had for a couple of years now. I really enjoyed colouring this, it was quite therapeutic lol do you love colouring when it all goes to plan and you like the finished effect? I used those ever popular Papermania Spots & Stripes papers again, a bit of lace from my stash and a few gems. The mat layer that the bunny is sitting on was cut on the Silhouette Cameo and was one part of three different frames designed by Jennifer Wambach and sold in the Silhouette Store.

Sparkles 'Birds' Challenge

Good morning all, the weekend is near and the weather is a little brighter so there is hope!

I cannot believe a whole month has gone by since I joined the lovely ladies at Sparkles Monthly Challenge and what a lovely lot of lace creations you entered. This month the challenge is 'Birds' so that means any kind of bird on your creation.  We are sponsored this month by Lili Of The Valley who are offering a £10 prize.

I was really struggling with this challenge as I don't really have any bird stamps apart from a Christmas one. I looked at some digi's and nothing jumped out at me so searched the Silhouette Store and found a few, then this pair appeared and I knew straight away I could use my Peachy Keen stamps to work with the die cut.

I had this clouds background from Hero Arts and sized it to fit the card blank, then cut the birds in the nest from Miss Kate Cuttables leaving out the face pieces. I used Peechy Keen Everyday Faces and just coloured the beaks. I used two different stamp sets for the sentiment and that was it, job done!

6" Scalloped Card Blank - Boyes
Card Stock - Bazzill
Bless This Stamp - Studio G 'VS4911'
Home Stamp - Kars Castle 'Alphabet 2'

Challenges I would like to enter this into:-

That's all from me for today, I will be back tomorrow with my My Time To Craft card. Thanks for stopping by.

My Time To Craft 'Embossing' Challenge

Good morning everyone, if you are looking for the Crafty Calendar Challenge post you will find it below this one.

It's Saturday so that mean's it's time for a new challenge at My Time To Craft and we have gone really easy on you this week and chosen 'Embossing'. This can be either dry embossing or if you are feeling adventurous you can go for wet/heat embossing.

I have two cards for you today, the first I made as I couldn't resist the challenge over at Cameo Creations which is 'St Patrick's With Bling'. Now as some of you may know I got married on St Patrick's day 18 years ago this March 17th and I think I was very lucky to have done this and used that as my inspiration for the card.
I used various cuts from the Silhouette Cameo site and the 'Hearts' embossing folder from Craft Creations which is a little hard to see in the photo.

Supplies:-
Card Stock - Bazzill
Sentiment - Crafty Sentiments
Gems - Dovecraft

Challenges I would like to enter this into:-
Cameo Creations - St Patrick's With Bling
Southern Girls - Pennants or Banners
Cardz TV - Luck Of The Irish

My second card has been made for my eldest son's birthday on Monday, as you can probably tell he is mad on football and has always followed Tottenham Hotspurs.

I cut the football card die cut from the Cameo store and then traced the cockerel mascot myself using SCAL3. I am really pleased with how well it came out. I used the colours of the team for the elements. I embossed the base layer of the football with Cuttlebug's swiss dots.

Supplies:-
Card Stock - Bazzill
Sentiment - Teddy Bo
Embossing - Cuttlebug 'Swiss Dots'
Die Cut - Soccer Card - 'Snapdragon Snippets' & Banner - 'SCAL3'

Challenges I would like to enter this into:-
C.R.A.F.T - Embossing
Dutch Dare - For The Boys
Southern Girls - Banners or Pennants
Anything Goes - Make It Manly
Craft Room - For A Man

That's all from me, thanks for stopping by and please hop over to the challenge blog to see all the other lovely creations.
