Going Buggy Promarker Challenge

Good afternoon all, what a contrast to yesterday's wonderful sunshine we were having to today icy cold wind and rain. It is on these days that I am glad I am housebound 95% of time lol.

Today, I have a rare card to show you, rare in the sense that I have used a Magnoila image. I have a lovely selection of these images yet I never use them, today I thought I would make the change.

My card is for the challenge that Enfys aka Going Buggy is having with Letraset where you have to use Promarkers to make a card using a stamped or digi image.

I used my favourite papers DCWV 'Linen Closet' stack, I just love the colours in this stack and they suit so many occasions.

I tried to take a close up to show the colours better but my hands are a little shaky today.

Skin - Ivory, Blush & Dusky Pink

Designer Papers - DCWV 'Linen Closet'

Baby Waterfall Card

Good afternoon all, it has been a lovely sunny day today but I wonder how long it will last!! I hope the weather has been equally good to you wherever you are in the world.

Today I want to share a baby card I have made, my friend's sister is due a baby in June and she has asked for a couple of cards but she doesn't know if it is a boy or girl. As soon as I saw the new waterfall cut file over at SVG Cuts I had to have it.
I have made this card as a boy's card and I am going to make another the same but replacing the blue for pink. It has been a long time since I have made a waterfall card so it took a little working out. I also resized it to 5" x 7" as it was A6 size originally. I am making these as examples, I will probably emboss the real one's to bring them to life a little more.
I have tried to take a photo of each letter as it pulls open, sorry they are not great it was difficult to photograph and hold open at the same time.

I would like to enter this card into Kristal's aka Get Cricky With K Andrew challenge which this month is A-Z (use lettering somewhere on your project).

I think I need to put a smiley mouth on my bear's face, he looks a little sad lol.

Supplies:-
Cardstock - Paper Mill Shop
Designer Paper - Craftwork Cards
Brads - Dovercraft

Now before I go I have been given two lovely awards this week which I don't normally post but thought I would as they are gratefully received.

The first one was given to me by the lovely Mandy aka Crafty Fox Cards
There are a couple of conditions for the award – explanation and instructions follow:
You have been TAGGED and want to participate? Then create a post where you post the 'LOVE BLOG' image. You should also blog the persons link that gave you the award and inform her/him that you accept the award. You can then choose 3 - 5 favourite blogs which you also link in your post, then each blogger will inform you that they have been tagged....

Dear bloggers:
The aim of this action is that we bring unknown, good blogs to light, so I would ask you not to blog fellow bloggers that already have 3,000 followers. As always, the hardest part is to pick who to pass this on to, there are so many bloggers I could give it to, so . . .the 5 I have chosen are......
The second award was given to me by the lovely Bev aka All The Things I Love

Thank the person who gave this award to me and link it back to their blog
Pass this award to 8 other people who write blogs I love to visit and leave a comment so that they can pass along the recognition!
Share 8 things about myself with my lovely blog readers

Now as I look around blogland I see that quite a lot of you have received these rewards already and so decided to not pick names but to ask that if you haven't yet received either of these you help yourself and let me know you did so I can pop over and thank you.

Crafty Sentiments Designs 'Valentines/Love' Challenge

Good morning to you all and thank you for popping by today.
This week at Crafty Sentiments Designs we have the challenge of 'Valentines/Love'. I really didn't want to make yet another Valentines/Love card so opted to make a banner.
I cut 6 postage stamp shapes on my Cricut, then cut rectangles to fit inside those and the lettering to spell 'Love' and '4U'. I placed an image of the adorable  newly released Crafty Sentiments 'Vicky' in the first panel and the lettering followed. I also cut three hearts and stamped these with Peachy Keen 'Happy Lashes' face assortment stamps.

Here is a close up of 'Vicky', you will notice that she has been embossed with the Cuttlebug 'Tiny Bubbles' folder. I did this by mistake when embossing the other pieces but quite like the effect so left it.

Sorry these photo's are not great I am really shaky at the moment and as I had to put it on the wall to photograph it was not easy.

Cardstock - Doublemates
Medium - Promarkers
Ribbon - Stash

Promarkers Used:-

Crafty Sentiments Designs 'Use A Bear' Challenge

Good morning all, just where are the weeks going? I seem to be bogged down with orders and struggling to raise my head for anything else lol.

It is time for a new challenge over at Crafty Sentiments Designs and this week our challenge is to 'Use A Bear' and with all the lovely bears we now have in the store that shouldn't be too hard for anyone!!

For my card this week I decide to try out a different fold which I really like although because I used the Create 4 Fun Challenge 'sketch' which I would like to enter this card into it took some working out, but I got there in the end. It is a gate fold style card with sort of cross over sections, well that is the best way I can describe it anyway lol!

The base cardstock is actually a dark pink, it looks almost black on my computer as the colours my laptop screen are going and everything looks strange on my computer. I sure hope the colour looks better to you. I fully intended on embossing the yellow stripe but was so intent on making sure it all went together right so it opened I completely forgot.

This is it closed and below I tried to take one open so you can see how it crosses over.

Supplies:-
Cardstock - Bazzill
Designer Papers - Craftwork Cards
Medium - Promarkers
Charm - The Works
Mosiac Gems - Papermania
Flowers - Candy Gift & Wild Orchid Crafts

Promarkers Used:-
Big Bear - Tan, Dusky Pink, Prisma Pencil & Blender
Scarf - Soft Green & Grass
Presents - Mustard & Antique Pink
Small Bear - Sandstone & Blender
