Moving Along With The Times 'Cute 'n' Cuddly

Good morning, I hope you are all this wonderful in the UK.

I am currently away from home at the moment as we are due to complete the sale on our house in about 2 weeks and we still don't have anywhere to live! Luckily my aunt has a holiday home that we can move into temporarily so won't be on the street's but trying to find somewhere suitable for us and that meets my needs is becoming quite a chore which I am regretting starting. So before I go any further I would just like to apologize for not getting around all your blogs this week.

OK onto the matter in hand this week at Moving Along With The Times Deb set us the challenge of 'Cute N Cuddly'. I had this order for a new baby card and as soon as I saw this image aptly called 'Baby Elephant' from new designer Sheryl Brown of Redonkulous Designs I just had to use it. Now I know an elephant isn't your usual cute and cuddly animal but couldn't you just cuddle up to this one? This card needed to be flat as it is going to Australia so all I added for embellishments was the three gems.

I even remembered to photograph the inside but it is really quite plan but just as requested.

Firstly I would just like to say thank you for all the wonderful Anniversary/Birthday messages I received on here and on Facebook, you are all wonderful. I had three wonderful days of cards and amazing pressies including Mother's Day but my children are sure pleased this week is over as it has been an expensive one for them!

Now onto the job in hand. This week it is Lisa's turn to set the challenge at Moving Along With The Times and she picked 'Easter Wishes'. Our sponsor for this week's challenge is Digi My World who very kindly gave us some images to play with and I have used Holly Ears, isn't she cute.

This is a first for me as I have never made an Easter card before and had to dig deep to find these papers that have been in my stash so long I don't know where they came from, I think they may of been an old DCWV Spring Stack but not totally sure. Anniversary Card For My Hubby

Firstly I hope all you mum's in the UK have had a wonderful Mother's Day. I have had two lots of flowers along with 2 lots of chocolates and my biggest surprise a handmade decoupaged card from my SON! I was already to thank him for his wonderful gesture when he announced it was cheaper than a shop one as he could use all my supplies, kids who'd have them lol. I can't wait to see what I get for my birthday tomorrow, I have been looking around my craft room to see what is missing but nothing jumps out as yet.

Now I thought I would show you the Anniversary card I made for my husband for our anniversary yesterday, I often go with a green theme as we were married on St Patrick's Day but this year I went with this fun card instead. I used this great Bugaboo image called 'Stella Tidbits - Braless' because as soon as I got it my husband joking around said 'oh who does that resemble? oh yes your mother' so I thought I would remind him what he would have after another 17 years of marriage!

I cut the bottom edge of my card with 2 of my new Spellbinder Edgeabilites dies and really like the effect, they took a bit of getting right as my Cuttlebug is now old and I always have to juggle the sandwich to get an even pressure.

A5 Card Blank - Craft Superstore

Ribbons - Stash
Die's - Spellbinders Edgeabilites
Sentiment - Computer Generated.

Moving Along With The Times 'For A Special Lady' Challenge

Good morning all, can you believe this wonderful weather we are having it really does feel like spring.
I am really pleased to tell you all that I have joined the design team along with some other fabulous ladies at Moving Along With The Times Challenge Blog so thank you team for having me join you.
So this week we have the challenge of 'For A Special Lady' and are being sponsored by Stitchy Bear Stamps who generously gave us some images to play with. For my first Moving Along project I have used 'Flowers For Mom' and coloured it with Promarkers & Flexmarkers.
Do you like my heart border? I cut it using 2 different sets from the new Spellbinders Edgeabilities die's, I love the scope you get with being able to mix and match the sets and you don't only have to use them as borders. My hubby brought me 4 sets for my birthday which isn't until next week but they arrived and I managed to nab them before he saw lol, at this rate I won't have anything to open on the day!

I'm Alive & Just To Prove It Here Is A Card Lol!

Good morning all. I cannot believe it has been nearly three months since I last posted but hopefully that is all about to change!!

This week at Moving Along With The Times they have the challenge of 'Cute As A Button' and it was just what I needed to get me crafting again. I must admit it took me a while to colour this simple image in as I haven't coloured for so long lol. I desperately need to get back into it as I now have all the new Flexmarkers unused oh dear and ordered the new L.E Spring colours as well as some more Promarkers which I didn't have and they should arrive today or tomorrow.

I used this great sketch from Sketch & Stash Challenge to help complete this card.

I have used these new bargain papers I got on Monday, they are from Craft Creation's and were only 15p for a 12" x 12" sheet and came in stripes, spots and checks. I brought 40 sheets in all the colours and style's they had, it just has to be done lol.

Supplies:-
6" Square Card Blank - Craft Superstore
Papers - Craft Creation's
Ribbon - Stash
Button - Echo Park
Twine - My Craft Spot
Glossy Accents for the wings - Ranger

Promarkers Used:-
Yellow, Lemon, Primrose, Black, Cool Grey 5, 3, 2, Warm Grey 4 & Cocktail Pink
Terracotta, Honeycomb, Spice, Oatmeal

I Love Promarkers - Ribbons & Bows
That Crafty Place - Anything Goes

I still some issues to sort with my health and now my house has sold so need to find somewhere else to live which I am not looking forward to but everything is finally going in the right direction!!

Oh and I have to tell you my hubby surprised me with a trip to the London Lyceum Theatre yesterday to see The Lion King and wow what a fabulous show it was and I have to say if any of you who are disabled are considering going, the service from the staff is impeccable. As they didn't have a disabled space available when booked they offered a concessional seat price to transfer from my wheelchair into an aisle seat and they would take care of my chair. My chair was brought to me at each interval and immediately at the end of the show. They even kept the aisle clear until I was transported out AMAZING I have never had this kind of service anywhere before.

Thank you for popping by and I just want to let you know I have been popping by all your wonderful blogs just not been up to leaving comments.
