Just For Fun

Good afternoon all.
How many of you are missing the Olympics already? doesn't the television seem empty now that it is all over, although the closing ceremony certainly sent them off in style.

Today I made a card just for fun, my hubby is still ill and although he was admitted to hospital last Friday he has been discharged now none the wiser and is to await further tests, who knows how long they will take so had to entertain myself lol.

I used this old Sugar Nellie image called 'Post Box' which I think was one of the first stamps I brought along with my absolute favourite 'Daisy'.

Supplies:-
6" Card Blank - Boyes
Card Stock - Bazzill
Designer Papers - Me To You 'Especially For You'
Image - Sugar Nellie 'Post Box'
Sentiment - Lily Of The Valley 'Stamp F ~ Words For Tags'
Medium - Promarkers & Flexmarkers
Gems - Papermania
Butterfly Trim - Craftmania

Here is a close up of the image.

Promarkers & Flexmarkers Used:-
Skin - Coral, Sunkissed Pink & Light Fawn
Hair - Cinnamon, Caramel & Tan
Hat & Blouse - Rose Pink, Pink Carnation, Blossom & Pale Blossom
Trousers & Belt - Duck Egg, Cool Aqua, Pastel Blue & Soft Aqua
Letters - Antique White
Mail Box - Walnut, Tan & March Hare
Grass & Leaves - Forest Green, Leaf Green & Chartreuse
Flowers - Rose Pink, Pink Carnation, Pale Blossom, Duck Egg & Soft Aqua

Challenges I would like to enter this into:-
Sketch Saturday - Sketch
Elisabeth Bell's World - A Summer Scene
Elphine House - Things With Wings
Bunny Zoe's - Summer

Now before I go I just wanted to show you a photo of our first born grandson who arrived last Wednesday weighing in at 7lbs 11ozs and has been named Harley Jason Thompson.

We have yet to see him as we are about a 3 hour drive from him and my son doesn't drive, plus between my husband being the hospital and poor little Harley who has also been admitted twice in his first week of life things are a bit difficult.
Harley has a problem with the capillaries in his face caused during a traumatic birth and because of this and not feeding too well he keeps dehydrating. He is awaiting an assessment this week to see what can be done for him, they were hoping it would clear up on it's own but are now not sure.
