My Time To Craft 'Gothic' Challenge

Good morning all, I hope where ever you are the weather is not too bad and not caused you too much trouble. Here we have only had a very slight snow, so little in fact if you blinked at the wrong moment you would of missed it lol but I know lots of you have not been so lucky.

We are travelling to our eldest son's this weekend, it will be the first time I have been out in the car for more than an 15 minutes at a time since my holiday in January so I am praying it does not make my back any worse than it already is!! We haven't seen our grandson since new year's eve so really looking forward to seeing him.

Anyhow onto the matter in hand the awful awful boss named Shell (ha ha only joking, she's lovely really) of My Time To Craft set us the challenge of 'Gothic' well first of all I called her the names possible then set to the challenge which couldn't of been further from my comfort zone if you tried.

I have had this rubber stamp which I won from Whimsy Stamps for probably 2 years and it had never been inked until now so another one off my list of unused stamps! However I had no papers or anything really to do Gothic. I looked online for papers but nothing struck me so looked in my large Silhouette library and found this unused background and Gothic archway so they formed my card along with a few pearls across the archway. I didn't add a sentiment as I just don't know what I would use this card for. I am not sure I am happy with this card but it was such a challenge I just didn't know what else to add.

I am sorry the photo is pants, the image is quite brightly coloured but all my camera keeps picking up is the background. The close up below does show the colours a little better.

Supplies:-
6" Square Card Blank - Boyes
Card Stock - Bazzill
Stamp - Kenny K 'Devastatia' from Whimsy Stamps
Pearls - Poundland
Die Cuts - 'Halloween Background' Valerie Foster Designs & 'Gothic Gate' Loni Leah Designs

Promarkers & Flexmarkers Used:-
Skin - Coral, Sunkissed Pink & Dusky Pink
Eyes - Bluebell
Hair, Clothes & Boots - Purple, Spring Purple & Cool Grey 1 to 5

Challenges I would like to enter this into:-
Charisma Cardz - Die Cuts
I Love Promarkers - Anything Goes
Use It Tuesdays - Die Cuts, Punches & Cut Outs
Mema's Crafts - Anything Goes

Well that is all from me today. Have a good weekend and I will see you all soon.
Thanks for popping by, please leave a comment so I can come see you to.

Super card Kim, we all seem to have struggled with this theme, but I think all the cards look great. Hope your travel goes OK and that you enjoy the time with your grandson.
