My Time To Craft 'Kraft' Challenge

Good morning, I hope you have all had a lovely week, the weather has certainly been good in the U.K I just hope it stays a little longer. 

Today is the start of a new challenge at My Time To Craft and this week we are challenged to using 'Kraft' on our projects. As soon as I saw this challenge I knew what I wanted to make, I had seen this monkey corner bookmark in Silhouette store and just had to make it.

I have been asked to do a stall for charity in July and I thought these may be perfect for the kiddies. However the monkey couldn't be alone so I made some other to join him (see below). The nice thing about making these is they use up some scraps of which I have many.

My Time To Craft 'Stitching' Challenge

Good morning everyone. The wind finally subsided yesterday but boy did it get colder. The sun is shining now so I hope it will remain for all of us.

This week at My Time To Craft we are being challenged to 'Use Stitching' on our creations, this can be real or faux. I am not one to normally add stitching in fact I have only ever done it once before and that was for a design team challenge and that time I actually used my sewing machine. This time however I went with the faux kind.

For my card I cut all my elements on my Silhouette Cameo and created an internal offset to each piece which I changed to a perforated line and used my glitter pens in the machine to draw instead of cutting. I added the happy birthday with the glitter pen too. I used one of my old favourite Elisabeth Bell image's which was also the first stamp I ever brought from Sugar Nellie and this brand new Spellbinders M-Bossabilities folder for the embossing. I didn't know how good those folders would be that turn inside out for another pattern but as you can see they emboss lovely. Not much to this card at all.

Moving Along With The Times 'Faeries Or Fantasy' Challenge

Good morning all. Oh my goodness this wind here is so so fierce, I hope it is better where ever you maybe.

This week at Moving Along With The Times Kelly is our hostess and she has challenged us to 'Faeries or Fantasy'. Now this is not something I make often if I have ever made one lol but I actually enjoyed making this.

Sparkles Monthly 'Hearts' Challenge

Good morning ladies. I hope everyone is experiencing the lovely weather we are finally having, it is so nice to be able to get out in the garden even if it is only to tell my hubby what he can and cannot cut down lol. The garden would be bald if left to his own devices!!

Well it's the 15th of the month and that means it is time for another great challenge at Sparkle's Monthly. This month we are set the challenge of 'Hearts' so we need to see hearts somewhere on your creations. We are sponsored by the fabulous Di's Digi's who are offering a prize of $10 to one lucky winner.

I went with a card that I thought could be used for an anniversary or even a just because card really. I loved this hearts background as soon as I saw it in the Silhouette Store and have been awaiting an occasion to cut it and here it is. Super easy and quick to make.

My Time To Craft 'Up In The Sky' Challenge

Good morning ladies, it's Saturday again where are the weeks going I can't keep up lol. The weather is at least a little better and the weekend is supposed to be nice so fingers crossed it is especially for those of you that work all week.

Anyhow, it's time for a new challenge at My Time To Craft and this week we are challenged to 'In The Sky' so anything related to items in the sky.

I made this card with a little boy in mind so hope he will like it. I cut all my die cuts on my Silhouette Cameo and added foam tape to the astronaut and the top part of the rocket to help raise them and give them some dimension. I stamped the sentiment and then coloured it in with a Promarker.

Crafty Calendar Challenge 'Sunshine or Showers' Challenge

Good evening all. 

I am here finally with my card for the new challenge at Crafty Calendar Challenge where this month we are challenged to 'Sunshine or Showers' and we have a fabulous sponsor in Milk Coffee who gave us all images to play with as well as a prize for one of you.

My Time To Craft 'Clean & Simple' Challenge

Good morning everyone, well the weather is certainly better here so I hope it is better where you are. Another week has past so quickly, it will be Christmas before we know it lol.

This week at My Time To Craft we have set the challenge as 'Clean & Simple', so that means minimum amount of embellishments and lots of white space on the card. 

I stamped my image of Sweet 'n' Sassy by Elisabeth Bell straight onto my card blank which I had already cut out the border onto using my Spellbinder Edgeabilities dies. I coloured my image with Promarkers & Flexmarkers but unfortunately shading was a little difficult on this card. Then added a couple of sentiments and a strip of gems. That's it, job done although I still wanted to add more but I don't consider myself a crafter who uses lots and lots of embellishments. I think it is because there is no backing paper.

Good morning all, it feels like forever since I posted anything on here. I have had my family to stay for over a week and everything has kind of gone out the window.

For my card I made a Centre Panel Step Card by Lori Whitlock cut on my cameo, this is the first time I have made one of these shaped cards and I really liked it. The image I used is called 'Whispy' and can be found here. I added stickles to her wings for a little sparkle. I left the card quite plan and haven't added a sentiment as I didn't make it for anyone in particular. I will add one when needed. I love this colour combo together, what do you think of it?
