Natalie & Amy 'Stamping' Challenge

Good morning all, we are off to see our granddaughter tomorrow for a few days which will be lovely as she has grown so much since I last saw her in January but for David who hasn't seen her since she was a few weeks old it will be a bigger shock especially with Harley just a few miles up the road and seeing him at least a couple of times a week you don't notice his growth so much.

Ok so it is time for a new challenge at Natalie & Amy's and this month it is a super easy one 'Stamping' but it has to be rubber or acrylic NO DIGI'S.

For my card I used the adorable Humphrey again, I really must treat myself to some new one's. When they first came out I was saying "oh no I won't use those" yet I find myself turning to this little ellie time and time again lol. I have used First Edition 'Animal Antics' papers and a Spellbinders Edgeabilities die however I managed to use the one that is not available in the shop! The little bit across the top is the off cut from the bottom die cut. Not many items used on this card today. I just noticed I didn't add the sentiment, I have added the sentiment that comes with the stamp now.

Supplies:-
6" Square Card Blank - Natalie & Amy
Die - Spellbinders Edgeabilities

ALL LINKS IN RED ARE AVAILABLE IN NATALIE & AMY'S STORE.

Promarkers & Flexmarkers Used:-
Ellie - Sea Mist, Pebble Blue & April Showers
T-Shirt & Shoes - Burnt Orange, Spice & Starfish
Trousers - Marine, Turquoise & Frosted Jade
Flowers - Bright Green, Green Shoot, Yellow & Lemon
Wrapping Paper - Almond & Antique White
Ribbon - Yellow & Lemon

Right that is all, I have several post's scheduled over the next few days so hoping they are all going to work, fingers crossed.

My Time To Craft 'April Showers' Challenge

Good morning one and all, where did the sunshine go I really did not enjoy food shopping in the rain yesterday and the forecast for the weekend doesn't look any better either. I sure hope it is far better where you are.

I think I am just about recovered from my grandson's visit last week and you know I had him in my trolley yesterday whilst food shopping and he was a little angel!!

Ok onto business, this week at My Time To Craft we are challenged to 'April Showers' meaning your creation must contain an umbrella in some way. Instead of going with rain I went with a shower of love in the shape of hearts. I found this cute image in the Silhouette store as a print and cut image and although I did cut around the image itself I decided to put it on a white layer. I just added the heart border and no sentiment as I am not sure what event it will be used for as yet.

Supplies:-
6" Square Card Blank - Natalie & Amy's
Card Stock - Bazzill
Designer Paper - Me To You 'With Love'

Challenges I would like to enter this into:-
To be edited.....

That is all from me, have a great weekend and don't forget to pop by the challenge blog and see all the other creations.

My Time To Craft 'Up, Up & Away' Challenge

Oh my goodness this post should of gone live on Saturday and I have just noticed it still in draft, I scheduled it and all but obviously forgot to press publish! This is the first chance I have had to look as we had our grandson to stay for the weekend and boy did he wear us out. He is not 2 until August yet he really is behaving like a terrible 2 year old lol, throwing a hissy fit when you tell him no. He did make us laugh as he didn't want to sleep in his cot but would happily curl up in the dog's bed with them, my daughter in law said we should of left him there for the night as the dog's were happy to have him.

OK so this week at My Time To Craft we are going 'Up, Up & Away' which means we would like to see anything that goes in the sky however if you are using a bird or butterfly it must be the main focal point on the card.

For my card I went with a hot air balloon and found this great 3d style one which I love as it folds flat to go in an envelope. It is a 5" x 7" card and I have left the sentiment tag blank as not sure who this will be for as yet. This was super easy to make and I used my scraps from the Echo Park Walk In The Park collection.

My card is straight it is just the angle I must have took it at.
Supplies:-
Card Stock - Lidl
Designer Papers - Echo Park 'Walk In The Park'
Brads - Papermania

See you all soon and have a wonderful week.

My Time To Craft 'All At Sea' Challenge

Good morning all, I hope you are all keeping well and the weather is the being kind to you.

It is time for another challenge at My Time To Craft and this week we are 'All At Sea' so anything that is related to the ocean, that means boats, fish, dolphins, lighthouses etc.

For my card I used two stamps that I have had for years, I brought these plus many others from an artist in America to make cards for my husband's scuba diving students. They are really nice stamps made of the thick red rubber and attached to cling mount and every stamps gives such a beautiful clear image and they were really cheap even with the shipping. I did something with this card that I never normally do in that I stamped my two images, found my paper and cut my die cut then put it all together BEFORE I coloured my image. Normally I would stamp, find papers then colour before anything else and with this once I had done all the above I looked at it and thought I don't want to colour it I like it as it is. Another first for me and why, why, why didn't I think of this when I couldn't colour properly. It certainly made for a quick make card.

It's the time for another challenge over at

A blog dedicated to the Silhouette Cutting Machines.

Sponsor this month is:
My Crafting Channel

Silhouette 25-Pack Chipboard

Good morning all, own up who stole my post? It was all written and scheduled, this morning it hadn't posted and was completely gone!

Anyhow here is what I created for the challenge of 'Faux Stitching', stitching is something that can be done in a couple of different ways either like I did with cutting the stitches or by using a pen and drawing the stitches. This card was super quick to make in fact I made it in under ten minutes the time my daughter in law had to get it in the post for her nephew whose birthday she had forgotten lol. The white layer is popped up with one balloon cut out to reveal the blue one below. The other balloons are a deep red and the belated is actually brown but the sheen on it doesn't help.

Supplies:-
Card Stock - Dovercraft & Bazzill

Challenges I would like to enter:-
To be edited as I can't remember the ones I did add.

Crafty Calendar 'Things With Wings' Challenge

Good morning again. As I said in my post below I am back with my card for the Crafty Calendar Challenge but if you are looking for my My Time To Craft post you will find it below.

So this month we have a fabulous sponsor from an artist I love and that being Elisabeth Bell who generously gave us some images to play with as well as a wonderful prize for one of you.  Our challenge this month is 'Things With Wings' and I can tell you Elisabeth has several of those images so in both rubber and digital so no excuse to join in.

For my card I went with something different for me, no patterned paper and lots of die cuts all in white! I must admit I quite like the final card but boy was it hard to choose those die cuts lol. I have used Fairy Merrily and of course gave her lovely glittery wings, I added a pin and a charm as these were the challenge requirements over at Elphine House Australia. I was lucky enough to win last month's challenge with my apron card found HERE, so had to play along again even though pins are a real challenge for me as I can never get them to look good!

For some unknown reason my image looks like her dress isn't coloured but it is in pale blues.

6" Square Card Blank - Natalie & Amy's
Card Stock - Bazzill
Charm - Stash

Items in Red are available at Natalie & Amy's.

My Time To Craft 'Wildlife' Challenge

Good morning, these weeks seem to go by quicker and quicker but you can always guarantee that come the weekend the weather will change to rain!

Ok so it is time for another challenge over at My Time To Craft and this week we are all about 'Wildlife' so think lions, tigers, elephants etc. Now I have to confess I would of been totally stumped for this one had our boss lady Shell not stamped me this adorable image the last time she came to visit so thanks Shell. Isn't it a great image. Plus my paper which is by Cloud 9 is called 'Cat Stripe' so very aptly partnered lol. The thin strips are the reverse side of the paper. I haven't added a sentiment as I wasn't sure who this would be for yet.
