Vinyl Ease 30 Sheets of Permanent Adhesive Backed Vinyl for Craft Cutters,
6 by 12-Inch, Assorted

I had been wanting to make one of these bags since I first saw them in the Silhouette Store but had no reason to do so, then my daughter in law showed me a little collection of notes Sophie had been hiding away. I knew this was the perfect bag for her to hide all her little notes in and keep them safe.

When you get the 2 Strap Purse by Samantha Walker for this bag all the pieces fit on one 12" x 12" sheet but I wanted it to be two tone and to save me messing around I just cut everything out of my two colours. I then realised that as I had used a double sided sheet of paper I could make two different bags and here the are.

After everything was cut I ran the red bazzill pieces through my gand calibur with spellbinders embossing folder and then applied a coat of Mod Podge to them all to give them  that gloss finish and I have to say they look so much better in real life. My buckles and hinges are gold just like the brads but do not look so in the photo I'm afraid, there are also 4 gold brads on the base of the bag that act as feet and the buckle has a magnetic clip to keep for opening and closing.

I was going to keep the other bag to use as an actual gift bag however Sophie had another idea and wanted to give it to her best friend who she swaps notes with. I think that is really sweet and also educational as they are only 7 and getting good practice with both writing and spelling.

Supplies:-
Card Stock - Bazzill
Embossing - Spellbinders
Clasp - Magnets
