Teddy Bo Card & A Challenge Or Two

Good morning all. The sun is shining again on the East Coast of England and there is just a little sea breeze blowing through my windows which is perfect in my eyes!

Today I have for a card that I made for my mother in law's other half's birthday which was at the weekend. I was stuck on idea's for him as he is one of those men who doesn't do anything except read the news constantly or go on holiday. Having heard a lot around blogland about Teddy Bo images I decided to take a peek and now wish I hadn't as there is far too many adorable images! bit I did find this image which I thought was just perfect.

Crafty Sentiments New Release Preview Last Day.

I was beginning to think I wouldn't get this posted we have had a power cut all morning. It felt like everything I turned to do I needed electricity for, you don't realise how much you rely on things until they are not there. I sure know one thing that has come out of this and that is I definitely need to buy a new battery for my laptop this one only last 5 minutes after the power went, I am so used to it being plugged in I just didn't realise!!

Crafty Sentiments 'Neutral Colours' Challenge

Good morning all. 

Today see another new challenge over at Crafty Sentiment Designs and this week our challenge is 'Neutral Colours'. I have never made a card or anything come to that in neutral colours before so found it really quite difficult to start but I ended up really enjoying it.

I used another of this month's new release called 'Primrose Autumn Leaves', isn't she cute? I added the little flower with button which I made after seeing one on Bev's Blog aka 'All The Things I Love' . I just gathered some seam binding and  then added my wooden button with embroidery thread and used hot glue to add it to my card. I think it is quite effective.
