Crafty Sentiments Challenge Week 20 DT Card

SORRY FOLKS FOR SOME REASON BLOGGER JUST WILL NOT POST MY POST DATED POSTS.
Good morning all, well the weather is a little overcast here on the east coast of England but at least it is not raining yet and I am hoping it will stay that way for those of you that have gone away for the bank holiday weekend.

Today brings us to week 20 over at Crafty Sentiments Challenge Blog where do the weeks go?? This week we have a nice easy challenge for you and that is to 'use punches' on you creation. I have used both a border punch and a flower punch for my creation and I say creation as it is not quite a card but I don't know another word for it lol. I have made a variation of a Pocket Card I saw on Stampin Inspirations blog aka Maria Bell because I needed an acceptence note for a 60th birthday we have been invited to. If you have a look at Maria's card you will see that the inner base flap is stuck down to create a pocket but I left this undone to create a flap. I made my own version using Sure Cuts Alot 2 as I didn't want the glue down flaps and I wanted the base flap slightly smaller so it moved with ease. (I am sure once you look at the photo's all will make sense lol).
I noticed whilst uploading these photo's that I had taken them before I added a 6 and 0 on the inside of the opening flaps.

This is it closed

This is the inner flap I have been talking about (please excuse the paper clips they are just holding shut for the photo)

Here it is fully open and you can see why I decided to change it so that I could add some text.
I hope you like it.
