Forever Friends Challenge 'Oriental'

Over at the Forever Friends site they have set the challenge as 'Oriental'. This threw me a little as I have never made an oriental card and could not think of anything I had to do with it either. So I googled awhile and managed to find 2 different free backing papers on the canon website. I used the bonsia tree as the backing then the script paper for matting and to make the fan. Have a look and see what you think. Oh and wording at the bottom spells out 'Forever Friends'

Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge 1,2,3

Here is a card I made for the Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge, which has the theme 1,2,3 (1 image, 2 papers and 3 embellishments). I decided to make it a valentines card as over on Stampin Stuff Blog they are asking for people to send valentine's cards to make some elderly folks happy. This card will therefore be sent off to them.

Scrummy Stash Cafe Challenge 'It's A Boy Thing'

Well I am not sure if this is only a scrapbook challenge or not but as I needed to make a card for my brother in laws birthday I thought I would take their theme on board. So over on Scrummy Stash Cafe Challenge the theme is 'It's A Boy Thing' and my borther in law being fishing mad this is what I created.

Clare's Weekly Sketch Challenge Over At Do Crafts

Well it was one of those days yesterday where I just didn't seem to get anything done. I started out with all intentions of making at least two cards but only managed one. I don't even have housework to do all day.

So onto the card I did manage to make, it was for the sketch challenge over on Clare's Blog at Do Crafts. This card was something very different to what I would normally make as I have never used this type of character before nor these bright colours. I hope you like it.

Forever Friends ATC or Topper Challenge

This is a topper I made for challenge over on the Forever Friends Challenge Site. The theme is an ATC or Topper measuring 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" maximum.

I used DCWV Blossoms & Butterflies as my base,

Stamped and heat embossed Forever Friend with Balloon,

Coloured with Whispers Brush Strokes pens,

Added Stickles - Cotton Candy to the balloon for effect,
