Kaboodle, Dutch Dare, Funky Fairys, Cuttlebug & Stamping For The Weekend Challenges

I had had a look through the challenges available but was still not convinced what I wanted to make, I had already decided I was going to try something different, something that I had not done before. Then I saw the Kaboodle Doodles Challenge of 'Windows' and the Cuttlebug Challenge of 'Create A Scene' and I knew then what I was going to make but of course I had to have a look and see what other challenges I could fit into it lol . These were Dutch Dare 'Christmas In August', Funky Fairys 'Christmas' & Stamping For The Weekend 'Days Gone By'.

I decided to create my scene as the outside view of a window dressed at Christmas time with the inside visible of a vintage child dressing the tree.

My something differents that I want to try soon mounted up, they were 1. to create a scene 2. to work with acetate 3. to mask properly (and I dont think I could of chose a harder stamp) & 4. to incorporate die cuts in my cards.

Front View

View From The Top (although my window looks wonky but it isn't)

Supplies:-

  • 6" square card - Craft Superstore
  • Designer Paper - Funky Fairys 'Blue Xmas'
  • Cardstock & Acetate - Paper Mill Shop
  • Stamp - Sugar Nellie 'Partridge In A Pear Tree'
  • Medium - Promakers
  • Sentiment - Liz's Crafts
  • Die's - All sizzix cut on my cuttlebug
  • Thread - DMC
  • Gems - Anita's Gem Wheel
  • Snow - Liquid Applique from local craft store.
