Crafty Sentiments Challenge 15 DT Card

Sorry this is late Mr Blogger decided he wasn't going to play ball this morning, probably out sunning himself somewhere but he certainly isn't on the east anglia coast as it is very overcast here.

Good morning all, it is Sunday morning so that means it's time for another Crafty Sentiments Challenge and this week we have another great 'Sketch' for you with the addition of 'Use Flowers Somewhere'. Now I am sure all of you could take part in this one so we would love to see you join in, it is preferred that you use a Crafty Sentiment stamp and if you don't have any they are available HERE, however any stamp can be used if you don't have any.
I rotated my sketch so that it fitted better with the Amy stamp I used and I added this lovely flower which was one of many I received from Sarah aka Card Oasis some time ago.

Sorry my photo looks a little washed out, I am not sure why it has come out like this.

Designer Papers - DCWV 'Citrus Stack'
Image - Crafty Sentiment 'Sitting Amy'
Sentiment - Crafty Sentiments

Crafty Sentiments Week 14 Challenge DT Card.

Good morning to you all, thanks for popping by. Today I bring you another card for the Crafty Sentiments Challenge. This week we have great 'sketch' to follow with the added extra of 'Your Favourite Embellishment'.

Now this for me caused a little problem because I have two favourite embellishments but neither of which I use enough as I find them a challenge. I love to see them on other peoples cards but for me, I usually end up wanting to scream or tear the card up. The first is ribbon, I can never tie a perfect bow or get it to lay how I want it to and the second is flowers, the punched ones don't seem to have any life no matter how much I try to curl them and the ready made ones are a challenge to attach perfectly so they lay correctly. So with this in mind I have set about to make a card to include both of those things, well it is a challenge after all!!!

This week I decided to have a go at making a tent card and I quite like how it turned out plus they are so easy to make.

Supplies:-
2 Pieces of 6"x6" cardstock - Paper Mill Shop
Designer Papers - Papermania 'Blueberry Hill'
Stamp - Crafty Sentiments 'Teddy With Flowers'
Sentiment - Crafty Sentiments
Medium - Promarkers
Card Candy - Craftwork Cards
Flowers - Won in a candy draw
Stickles, Eyelet & Chain - From stash.

Don't forget to check out all the new Amy's that are now available over at the Crafty Sentiments Store.

Fantabulous Cricut & My Pink Stamper Challenges

The Fantabulous Cricut challenge this week is to use the word ‘Happy’ and a ‘Flower’ on your project using at least one cricut cut. I could not make up mind what to make until I saw that Robyn owner of My Pink Stamper had set her first challenge with her new design team. The challenge is to use the colours ‘Pink, Green & Black’, now as most of my followers would know this combination of colours are not ones I would normally use. However I decided to make this card without a stamped image too, pure horror that just isn’t how you make a card but you know I really like the card I made and I only used Accent Essentials to make it. I would love to know what you think of it.

Supplies:-
Cardstock - Paper Mill Shop
Sentiment - Crafty Sentiments
Flower Trim - Craftmania
Buttons & Brad - Stash

SECOND POST PLEASE SCROLL DOWN FOR
THE CRAFTY SENTIMENTS CHALLENGE
Good afternoon all, hope you are all having a lovely Easter and have not eaten too many eggs.

Firstly there is a little lady that I need to tell you about, her name is Amy and she is part of a new collection of stamps available April 6th from Crafty Sentiments. Here is a preview of the different stamps which will be available

Arn't they all real cuties.
Now I have used one of the new stamps on my project below which I have made as part of a gift set. I have also made a card to go with this box but you cannot see that until next Sunday when it will be shown as my DT card for that weeks Crafty Sentiments Challenge plus it uses another of the Amy stamps so don't forget to look out for it.

Anyway on to this project which I have made for the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge where the challenge is 'Bling It On'. I cut this box from an svg file that I found HERE at Beth's blog My Cricut Scrapbooking where incidentally she has some fantastic cuts. It was the cricut at fit to page and was just the perfect size to place my gift in.
Doesn't Amy look all sweetness perched on the edge there.

Cardstock - Paper Mill Shop
Desinger Papers - DCWV 'Spring Stack' last years!!!
Sentiment - Crafty Sentiments
Ribbon & Lace - From stash

Crafty Calendar Challenges DT Card

Well it's the first Friday of the month so that means its time for a new Crafty Calendar Challenges challenge and this month we have the theme of 'April Fools' make a humorous card with the added option to include 'Embossing' which I incidentally forgot lol.
Now this proved a real challenge for me, I kept going through my stamps and then my downloaded digi's and could not come up with an idea. Then my cousin called and just this call gave me the idea. I had used the image I am using today to make her an engagement card as abit of a laugh and when she received it she said that would make a great anniversary card for her parents as her dad was always forgetting not to buy flowers as her mum is allergic to them. Bingo here was my answer and when I showed the finished card to my cousin she loved the it and has taken it for aunt and uncles anniversary in July.
I really do love these Mo Manning images they are so easy to colour and always print out a dream.
Receipe:-
6" Square Card Blank - Craft Superstore
Designer Papers - K&Co 'Classic K McKenna'
Cardstock - Paper Mill Shop
Image - Mo Manning's Digital Pencil Too 'Jack & Ginger'
Senitment & Text - Computer Generated
Medium - Promarkers
Flowers - Prima
Brad - Dovercraft
Ribbon - Crafty Ribbons.

Please pop over to the challenge site and have a look at all the other projects made by the design team, you won't be disappointed.
