Natalie & Amy's 'Love Is All Around' Challenge

Good morning all, I hope today finds you well and you are all keeping warm. I also hope Mr Blogger has played nicely and posted this for me while I am away visiting my daughter and getting lots of Mia cuddles, I cannot believe she is 2 months old already.

Anyhow today see's a new challenge at Natalie & Amy's which is 'Love Is All Around' and you must use at least one heart on your creation. I thought I would have a go and see how I got on with colouring an image for this challenge but it was not the best idea, I am still finding it hard to hold the pens for any time and got quite frustrated with it. I will be seeing a new Neurology consultant on Saturday and hope he can shed some light on the matter.

So for my card I used a stamp I have had for a while from DoCrafts Me To You range called 'Loving Company', coloured with Promarkers & Flexmarkers and paired this with First Editions J'Adore patterned papers. I used a Kaisercraft stamp set called Just Believe for the calendar sentiment and coloured in the date with a Promarker. I added this really pretty hanging hearts style border which I cut on my Silhouette Cameo but it doesn't show up too well as I should have chose a solid coloured paper for it, I didn't have time to change it. Then just a couple of gems to finish it off. All supplies used are linked below to the Natalie & Amy Craft Shop

My Time To Craft 'Use 2 Images' Challenge

Good morning all, I hope you are all feeling fine and not harboring any lurgies, if you are I hope you feel better soon. The weekend is here again, can you believe it is the last week of January already, where is the time going.

This week at My Time To Craft we are challenged to 'Use 2 images' on your project, that can be 2 different images or at least 2 of the same image.

For this challenge I decided to do something I have never done before and actually enjoyed doing and love the final result. I started with this small stamp which could be a Stampin' Up stamp but I am not sure.

I then took a piece of 14cm square white stamping card stock and using 3 very old Whisper inks in Butterscotch, Chestnut and Saxon Green I randomly stamped all over as seen below.

Next I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut this up into 5 hexagons which I layered and placed on my card with this little sentiment. A super easy and quick card.

Supplies:-
6" Card Blank - Boyes
Card Stock - Bazzill
Stamp - ? Stampin' Up
Ink - Whisper
Die Cut - Hexagon Frames #25685 Ginny Nilson Designs
Sentiment - Paper Pretties 'Birthday Sentiments'

Challenges I would like to enter this into:-

That is all from me for today, please pop by the and have a look at the fabby creations the other dt girlies made.

My Time To Craft 'All About The Love' Challenge

Good evening all, well I am finally here. After getting a virus on my computer which completely wiped it out even though I have McAfee anti virus installed on it, it ended up having to go away to be repaired and took the man several times before he could get it to finally start up again.

Anyhow here I am with my late card and gift box for this weeks challenge at My Time To Craft where the challenge is 'All About The Love'. I made this cute square card with a matching gift box. All the cut files are listed below in the supplies section. To make these I used card stock from Lidl's, some patterned paper from an old Docrafts paper pack called 'With Love', a piece of white ribbon, a couple of black pearls and a clear gem in the flower.

The card.

 The gift box closed.

And an open view.
Supplies:-
Card Stock - Lidl's
Patterned Paper - Docrafts 'With Love'
Ribbon & Clear Gem - Stash
Black Pearls - Kanban
Die Cuts - Love Birds Card #54111 by Daniela Angelova, 3d Heart Candy Box #38513 by Lori Whitlock & 3d Pop Out Petals Flower #43874 by Alaa K Studio. The sentiment I made myself using Pacifico font welded together.

That is all for today, hopefully it won't be so long before I am back.

Butterfly Kisses Stamp Set by My Craft Spot

Ok so this month I am sharing with you the ornament I made for my new granddaughter at Christmas. I have made these for all the great grandchildren in the family but I think I like this one the best.

I printed her photo onto photo paper twice and backed them together and placed them into the ornament along with fine glitter for snow. I am not sure why the photo looks small in there but it actually fills the whole bauble. I then used my silhouette cameo to cut the wording pink and some pink and white snowflakes which as you can see I scattered around trying not to cover her face too much. A piece of matching pink ribbon was added to hook it onto the Christmas tree. As soon as my daughter saw it she said she wants one each year with an upto date photo in to make Mia her own keepsake tree, I actually think that is a lovely idea.

My Time To Craft 'Music or Movie Inspired' Challenge

Good morning again, if you called looking for my Crafty Calendar post you will find it below this one. Apologies for this post being later I scheduled it then must have pressed save instead of publish lol

Ok so this week at My Time To Craft we are challenged to create something that is 'Music or Movie Inspired' and as I always struggle with this type of theme I hung onto this card I made a while ago as a request.

I made this card with the font panel being in the style of a grand piano for a music teacher. It was not until I gave it to the person that I realised the card is back to front and opens on the left lol but she loved it and took it anyway. It did give us a laugh though. I used a cutting file from the Silhouette Store by Loni Stevens, with all card stock being Bazzill and added some Range Black Enamel Accents to the notes and keys although it doesn't really show in the photo.

Supplies:-
Card Stock - Bazzill
Die Cut - Piano Card #24811 by Loni Stevens

Not many supplies needed for this card.

Have a lovely weekend and I will see you all soon.

Crafty Calendar 'Celebrate' Challenge

Good morning and
 Happy New Year
to you all. Apologies for this post being later I scheduled it then must have pressed save instead of publish lol. It has been a bit wet so far but not too cold, do you think we will get a real winter? We celebrated the New Year in with a meal out for David's birthday and then looking after little Harley so his mum and dad could go out. I hope whatever you were doing you enjoyed it and there was not too many sore head's the next day.

Today see's a new challenge at Crafty Calendar Challenge and this month our challenge is 'Celebrate', so many different reasons for this one.

For my card which was made for my granddaughter I made a stand up card with a stand on the back but forgot to photograph that bit. It is shaped and made using a cutting file Miss Kate Cuttables which was a freebie. I made it about 7" x 5" and used lots of nice brights colours. The little stars on the balloons have liquid pearls on them but it can't be seen.

Supplies:-
Card Stock - Bazzill
Die Cut - Happy New Year by Miss Kate Cuttables

That is all from me, I will be back shortly with my My Time To Craft post.
Have a great weekend and stay dry, the forecast looks awfully wet.
