Good morning. Firstly did you remember to put your clocks forward an hour? Secondly wishing a Happy Mother's Day to my dear mum and all those worthy mum's out in blogland.
Ok onto business we have a new challenge for you this month at Natalie & Amy's and it is super easy 'Embossing'. This can be either heat or dry embossing the choice is yours. I ended up with dry embossing, I did try to heat emboss the sentiment but couldn't get an even coverage so gave up.
For my card today I used this cute little rubber stamp by Nellie Snellen called Christmas With Dawn but as you can see I made a birthday card. I think this image is one of those that could be used for several occasions as it has nothing specific on it to tie it. I added some stickles around the embossed part of my die cut for a little sparkle.
Supplies:-
6" Square Card Blank - Natalie & Amy's
Card Stock - Bazzill
Designer Papers - Dovecraft 'Back To Basics II'
Sentiment - Papermania
Medium - Promarkers & Flexmarkers
Glitter - Ranger Stickles 'Diamond'
Mini Buttons - Dovecraft 'Back To Basics II'
Die Cuts - Spellbinders Classic & Scalloped Squares & Edgeabilities
Embossing - Cuttlebug 'Happy Birthday'
Hair - Nutmeg, March Hare & Light Fawn
Purples - Spring Lilac, Lilac & Soft Mauve
Yellows - Yellow, Soft Lime & Primrose
Greens - Apple, Leaf Green & Meadow Green
Lamb - Yellow, Soft Lime & Warm Grey 1-3
Zebra - Warm Grey 1-3
That's all for today, see you soon.
